Dr Monika Laskowska
Tax policy expert and tax advisor with over 20 years’ experience both in the tax authorities and private sector. For over a decade, she acted at senior position for international tax matters in Ministry of Finance in Poland (i.a. Competent Authority). At her role, she was a key decision maker in international tax policy and cross-border relationships. Established and implemented a policy of improving transfer pricing compliance and enforcement in Poland. She was a Polish delegate to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, Working Party 6 (Transfer Pricing) in Paris and the European Union Joint Transfer Pricing Forum in Brussels. Monika undertook also the role of Tax Partner in PwC Poland.
She holds PhD in policy science. Monika is a member of the board in International Fiscal Association
(Branch in Poland). In 2019, she was rewarded with the ITR European Woman in Business Law
Awards for Best in Transfer Pricing. For several years, she has been nominated in ITR World TP rating
as highly regarded professional. She is the author of many tax articles, monographies. She is also
permanent speaker in tax conferences.
