dr Filip Majdowski

Filip Majdowski is Deputy Director at Tax System Department of the Polish Ministry of Finance. At the Ministry, he directs work on the tax aspects of the digital economy, the sharing economy, e-commerce and new technologies. He represents Poland in the European Union and OECD.

Prior to joining the public service, he gained professional experience in the "Big Four" tax advisory firms and in the financial sector. Filip graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw in Poland (cum laude) and is a member of the board of the International Fiscal Association - Polish branch. He is the author of several dozen publications on tax law in Polish and foreign scientific periodicals.
